Where can you find our delectable cheese?  You can simply scan the barcode above with your Smart Phone.  Cheese Shops & stores that carry our cheese will be listed through Food Tree.  You can purchase it at Whole Foods or New Seasons (Oregon) stores.  You can also order it as part of your weekly box from Full Circle. If you're looking for a scenic drive, you can always mosey out to our creamery in Fall City and buy it directly from us in our farm store open Saturday's 10am-2pm.

We're so excited to offer our Mozzarella and Parmesan/Feta classes through GroupOn.  If you purchased a GroupOn, simply call us in the cheese room at (425) 222-5277 to schedule which class you want attend!  We have mid-week (Wednesday evening) and weekend (Saturday & Sunday) classes available.  Mid-week class times are 6pm and Weekend class times are 10am & 2pm.  All classes are two hours in length.  Wear comfortable shoes and come hungry cause we're going to fill you up with cheese!  We're looking forward to playing in milk with you in our cheese room!

Artisan Cheesemaking Classes        

Our next class is Sat., June 9th at 2pm, $145pp.  Learn to make Tomme (that's our signature cheese!) and Feta (sheep's milk).  Take home a 2 lb. wheel of Tomme to age yourself and a whole pound of feta.  If you want to sit down and watch someone else make cheese, this class isn't for you. At River Valley Cheese, our teaching style is based on an old learning proverb Hear & Forget, See & Remember, Do & Understand. In this spirit, our classes are focused on providing hands-on experience.  Click here to see what you'll experience in our cheese classes.  If you really want to make your own cheese with tried and true recipes that you can go home and have success with, sign up!  Eat all the cheese you want in class too. This class is for Beginners so don't worry about your knowledge base. Hands-On.  You will learn and do every bit of the cheesemaking process yourself. You'll be up to your elbows in milk so dress casual.

We are artisan cheese makers. Simply put, the milk is produced locally and we make it into cheese. Our cheese is made from 100% Jersey milk, guaranteeing maximum flavor and buttery goodness in every bite. No hormones to increase production and no corn in their grain. Better for them and better for you!
The artisan part means that we make our cheese in small-scale quantities by hand with great attention to detail and lots of pride.
When we say handmade, we really mean it. You won't find any automated equipment in our cheese room.
We strongly believe in growing the centuries old craft and have been teaching cheesemaking since 2006.
